TWS is part of Potters Earth Foundation, a non-profit organization working with students and young adults to find their strengths and opportunities, and turn them into meaningful careers and decent work. Potters Earth Foundation has been working in education for 10 years, having worked with 15,000+ kids to help them make decisions about their career and life.

Through this time, we realized that kids are not equipped (and in many cases, not allowed) to make independent decisions. Later in life, these kids face the realities of a fast-moving world and find themselves ill-equipped to flourish. But are they to blame? ​As the seed of the school planted itself in our minds, we dreamt of creating a thriving eco-system for kids to think, learn and grow by themselves.

We wanted to create a safe space, a school that would make kids aware of their own mind, their decisions and take ownership of their actions. The Wonder School was born in early 2020 in an online format due to the COVID-19 pandemic. What started with 4 kids has expanded into a full-fledged pre-K to Grade 8 program for 20 students in a mere 6 months. During this time, we also established our partnership with the New Nordic School, a Finnish organisation that brought the unique Finnish methodology and other global best practices to our team. We are now on an expedition to make our school an excellence driven space of happy learning for our students, where the kids’ curiosities are encouraged and their ambitions are fueled in to reality.
